Description Edit
The TIE Fighter is made up of three large "parts": the two wings and the cockpit. The wings have a hexagonal shape with a radial blue pattern. They each have an a 2 by 2 round symbol of the Empire. They are solid and stiff, unlike the wings of Darth Vader's TIE Fighter which bend.
The cockpit, which is piloted by an Imperial pilot, opens up when the top is pulled up. There are two lasers, and a radial viewport. It connects to the wings with a TECHNIC/System piece.
BackgroundEdit
TIE fighters are the original models for the upgraded TIE Bomber, TIE Interceptor, TIE Defender, and many more. They were the backbone of the Imperial army's feet. The weakness of the TIE fighter was that it only took one hit and was destroyed, so the pilots needed to wear special equipment. TIE fighters participated in many battles, such as the Rebel Alliances attack and destruction of the Death Star, Death Star II.
